Abstract

Strengthening the R&D capabilities of researchers is one of the umost priorities of Romblon State University. As it envisions to be a research-based academic university, its programs and activities aim to be cascaded not just in developing research-oriented faculty but also innovative student researchers.

Considering these, a Student Research Congress or "LikHamon 2022" with the theme "Nurturing NextGen Innovators for a Gender-Sensitive Industry 4.0" was conducted to support students in terms of research and development and enliven the students' research culture in the university.

This also intends to mainstream gender-sensitiviy in all university undertakings especially in research and development, and will identify potential intellectual propoerties to protect and eventually commercialize.
